BACHELOR OF COMMUNICATION (HONOURS)- GAME DESIGN AND ANIMATION MAJOR

Game Design and Animation (GDA) Major adopts programme-based admission.

All eligible JUPAS applicants should submit their application via JUPAS's website at http://www.jupas.edu.hk/en/

Direct (Non-JUPAS) applicants should submit their application via Academic Registry's website at 
https://iss.hkbu.edu.hk/amsappl_nj/

Potential candidates may be invited for interviews. Each candidate is required to present a Letter of Intent and a digital Portfolio. The Letter of Intent should state clearly, under 200 words, the candidate’s reason to apply for the programme and his/her career goals for the future. The digital portfolio should demonstrate the candidate’s creativity, as well as visual and design literacy.

Remarks:

(1) Good results in English Language, Mathematics Compulsory Part and Visual Arts subjects are preferred.

(2) High choice banding in JUPAS application is preferred.

(3) Candidates may be required to attend an interview. Candidates are required to present their portfolios during the interview. They may be required to submit their portfolios before/after the interview.

(4) Candidates should prepare their portfolios in digital format for presentation. Portfolios should demonstrate the candidate’s creativity, as well as visual and design literacy.

This programme considers the best 5 HKDSE subjects including Chinese Language and English Language subjects in Academic Score Calculation.
