GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFER OF UNITS
The University reserves the right not to grant units for courses with grades below the equivalence of grade C in the Baptist University grading system, and for courses which are not at the same level of undergraduate education.
STANDARD UNIT TRANSFER FOR AF UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
1. Universities in Asian countries :
e.g. National Taiwan University of Arts
| Course taken during Study Abroad Program/ units | Equivalent course in AF undergraduate programme |
| 3 courses at 2 units each = 6 units | Recommended for transfer of two courses (6 units) |
| 2 courses at 2 units each = 4 units | Recommended for transfer of one course (3 units) |
| 1 course at 3 units each = 3 units | Recommended for transfer of one course (3 units) |
2. Universities in European countries :
e.g. University of the West of England
| Course taken during Study Abroad Program/ credits | Equivalent course in AF undergraduate programme |
| 20 ECTS credits (approx. 130 hrs) | Recommended for transfer of 2 courses = 6 units |
| 10 ECTS credits (approx. 42 hrs) | Recommended for transfer of 1 course = 3 units |
Unit transfer for specific courses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please consult the undergraduate office and/or the program coordinator for details.
