We are delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the Summer Incubation: Content IP Lighthouse 2026, held from July 20–28. Hosted by IMD, this intensive creative incubator was designed to cultivate Hong Kong’s next generation of original IP creators. Supported by Minds’ I and built around the Mindcraft© methodology, the programme offered a comprehensive exploration of the content IP lifecycle—spanning creative design and world-building through to commercial strategy and legal protection.
Throughout the incubation, participants engaged in small-group mentorship sessions with distinguished industry practitioners, including Mr. Eric Kot Man-fai, Mr. Ivan Wong (Moonbug Entertainment), and Lawyer Rebecca Lo (Gallant). In addition, the cohort received expert coaching in The Pitch Lab, led by Ms. Noletta Chiu (Chief Creative Officer, Mind's I Ltd, and Founder of Mindcraft©), with support from Ms. Phoenix Ng (Head of IP Business Development, LIND Friends Hong Kong). The programme culminated in a dynamic IP Exchange (Pitch Day), where participants presented their original projects to a distinguished panel of judges, including Mr. Ivan Wong and Mr. Kim Yip (Director of Plastic Thing Limited).
We are thrilled to congratulate the outstanding award recipients of this year's cohort. The Blueprints Awards (Most Innovative) were presented to the project team of Lau Tsz Yi, Lee Hau Yiu, and Li Ying Wei, as well as to another solo team Jessica Wong Wing Chi. The Spotlight Awards (Best Presentation) were awarded to Yip Ka Lam, and to the team of Hui Hei Wan Belle and Lui Yik Yin.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all mentors, partners, and participants for their passion and dedication. A special thank you goes to Ms. Noletta Chiu for her expertise in making this year's incubation a landmark event. The future of content creation now has a new lighthouse, and we can't wait to see what shines next.
