The Asia Pacific Intellectual Property Creative Summit 2026 (亞太知識產權文創高峰會 2026), jointly organized by HKBU's Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) and JCI Dragon (騰龍青年商會), offered a significant forum for intellectual property discourse in Asia.

Ms. Zoie So, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Interactive Media and Programme Director of the Interactive Media Publishing programme, presented IMD's comprehensive IP education framework, reflecting the department's sustained commitment to integrating IP literacy into creative arts education. She participated in a panel discussion alongside Mr. Sunny Tang (JCI & Kidult Kiddo) and Mr. Ryan Li (Co-founder of HK Comic Con), addressing the synergies between IP pedagogy and industry commercialization.

Additionally, Ms. So took the opportunity to introduce "Doughn't Eat Me," an student original IP project, to Mr. David Wong, Director of Intellectual Property (IPD), who officiated the summit's opening ceremony, a notable recognition of student innovation at the institutional policy level.
