From 1 June to 5 August 2026, the Au Shue Hung Memorial Library will host a captivating student exhibition titled “The Architecture of Motion,” featuring the semester’s creative output from the GAME4005 Character Effects & Rigging course. The showcase offers visitors a rare glimpse into the intricate world of digital character animation – where every movement, from a subtle shrug of a shoulder to the earth-shaking weight of heavy footsteps, becomes a harmonious convergence of art, anatomy, and engineering. The exhibition presents a dual narrative: the creative vision of character design and the invisible technical craftsmanship required to make those visions come to life.
We extend sincere gratitude to the Au Shue Hung Memorial Library for hosting the exhibition, and to all the students whose dedication and creativity turned this showcase into a memorable celebration of both art and science. We look forward to seeing how these emerging talents continue to push the boundaries of character technology in their future endeavours.
