The Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) and Stanford University are advancing their international exchange program into its fourth year, transitioning from virtual to in-person collaboration. This partnership, involving HKBU's Game Design and Animation students and Stanford's healthcare students, focuses on creating educational content in healthcare.

Under the guidance of HKBU's Professor Paul Shepherd and Stanford's Dr. Lawrence Chu, six selected students will travel to Stanford to participate in an immersive content development program. They will integrate into Stanford's academic life, attend courses, and engage in storytelling projects, culminating in presentations to healthcare experts.

The program is designed to mirror a professional work environment, with students expected to manage projects and meet deadlines. While there is no stipend, participants are provided with housing, local travel funds, and airfare.

This initiative offers students a platform to enhance their portfolios with industry experience, learn about healthcare media, and develop collaboration and project management skills in an international setting. The experience aims to prepare students for future careers at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and media, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and effective communication in client-service roles.
